ART.FAIR 21: ART FROM THE 21ST CENTURY
29.10.2010 bis 01.11.2010
Neue Kunst Gallery One Artist Show
Over the last eight years, ART.FAIR 21 has firmly established itself as a fair for contemporary art in the calendar of the international art scene. Once a year, it presents promising young positions and selected current works by internationally renowned artists.
With the move to the Staatenhaus am Rheinpark in Cologne, ART.FAIR 21 remains true to its concept - art exhibitions and events together under one extraordinary roof. Newly gained space also allows the exhibition area and possibilities to be expanded and creates new incentives for both gallery owners and visitors.

KIAF Korean international Art Fair Seoul
Kiaf Seoul, Korea Korean international Art Fair
8.-12.September 2010 Galerie Erhard Witzel (Germany) , Galerie Davis-Klemm (Germany)

KIAF, Asia’s leading art fair Launched in 2002 by Galleries Association of Korea, KIAF has grown into Asia’s leading art fair by offering a wide variety of subsidiary programs, going beyond its function as a trade venue for art. This year’s KIAF will see participation by 193 galleries from 16 countries, including Korea. It will be Asia’s largest art festival, showcasing around 5,000 high-quality works of art. The participating galleries will feature a wide range of works, ranging from those created by rising artists who are active all across the globe to the works of world-renowned artists. This year will mark KIAF’s advancement from Asia’s leading art fair to a global art fair as an arena for learning and an art festival. In 2008, KIAF witnessed participation by 218 galleries from 20 countries and an audience of more than 60,000, thus fully establishing itself as Asia’s largest art fair. In 2009, the number of visitors reached around 56,000 despite the economic downturn. In stark contrast to overseas art fairs that had a poor record, KIAF saw its artwork sales stand at KRW 13.6 billion, and thus received favorable reviews as Asia’s leading art fair. KIAF2010 will faithfully perform its roles as a ‘sample market’ that shows the art market of today and predicts the market of tomorrow, and also serve as Asia’s leading multifunctional cultural event that focuses on art.The wide variety of programs KIAF provides, such as the Docent Program and KIDS in KIAF, will allow the audience to take a step closer to modern art. Above all, a special media art exhibition will be held to give more diversity to the event, whose exhibited works will mainly be paintings. The exhibition will further expand the roles of the art fair by showcasing the works of PAIK Nam Jun.April 25, 2010 until June , 6, 2010

The new small fair in the central Grimaldi Forum had only 60 exhibitors from 15 countries. Some highlights were the Kalos Gallery from Taipei City Taiwan and the Agathon Galleries from Australia with very good Aboriginal Art and of course the Neue Kunst Gallery with One-Artist Show from Thitz. After a brilliant opening evening only a few visitors came into the hall. At the same time one of the classic car races took place on the Monte Carls circuit. The fair was a good idea - but the organization was very unprofessional. For example, all visitors who wanted to enter the exhibition hall were first sent out to buy their tickets in another building.
"We have sold a lot and won very good customers, but we will wait the next few years to see how and whether the fair will develop further and then decide whether we should participate there again." said gallery owner Michael Oess after the fair.

"art KARLSRUHE continues its success story in its eighth year. With more than 40,000 visitors, art KARLSRUHE 2010 recorded the highest level of visitor interest in its history. ( Press release Art Karlsruhe )
Not only since his exhibition in the Kunsthalle Arnstadt, which has just organized a large individual exhibition for Thitz, his work has found acceptance and appreciation in national and international museums. In 2010 the Anhaltinische Gemäldegalerie Dessau and the Athens Museum Herakleidon exhibited both painting and the artist's conceptual work with the "Bag Projects". In previous years, the Museum Goch, the Kunsthalle Karlsruhe and art museums in Londrina (Brazil), Offenburg, Rottenburg, Siegen and Miami, among others, dedicated large individual shows to the artist. The Kerber publishing house published it, there were numerous purchases of private collections (Würth, Burda, Oetker).
The best works from the museum exhibition, together with the very latest works, were exhibited exclusively at the One Artist Show of Galerie Rothamel (Erfurt, Frankfurt) for the first time at Art Karlsruhe and most of them were sold.
Behind the One Arthitz Show, the stand of Galerie Rothamel is complemented by the wonderful new works by Hans-Christian Schink and works by Moritz Götze, Eckart Hahn, Nguyen Xuan Huy, Ulrike Theusner, Abraham David Christian and the sculpture place by Axel Anklam.
