After last year's great success at the Cologne Autumn Fair for Current Trends in Contemporary Art, the Neue Kunst Gallery once again presented an exclusive One Artist Show by THITZ. All current Thitz series were represented. From 2-piece large formats to individual bags. Urban developments from New York to Berlin and the latest artistic reflections on the urban future of megacities. Thitz's pictures always seem somehow positive, but also let us discover thoughtful, philosophical, often astonishing things.

ART KARLSRUHE 2012 - 7.3.- 11.3.2012
222 gallery owners from twelve different countries will be presenting an array of almost every artistic discipline in their stands, ranging from classical modern through to contemporary art.
This exceptional art market has successfully established its position in the international trade fair calendar. The increase in visitor interest was also evident in 2011, with over 45,000 visitors.
But Thitz continues to have fun - riding on the waves of the so perceived radical-changing-times, so to suspend his artistic ideas in the ocean of history. The conceptual and poetic fineness of his latest works seems to be inversely proportional to the simple world-explanatory models of our time.Thitz still uses the generally accepted codes of our consumer world, but more and more readable words are entering the not really empty space of his images. His urban habitats are filled with poetry, philosophical remarks and paradigms. Still his paintings are named after famous mega-cities such as Tokyo, Seoul and Mumbai - but are ultimately showing more of the cultural essence of their residents in a still unknown future skyline.
Most of Thitz works were sold - some of them even before they could be hanged on the wall.
