Thitz – Hybrid City

Hybrids exist in the plant and animal world as part of the evolutionary history since about 10 million years ago. Hybrid cars, hybrid houses, even hybrid clouds, we know from the current range of politically correct heralds of a simulated or real, ecologically compatible urbanity. The reinterpretation of the common tote bag as "hybrid out of art and everyday culture" gave the artist THITZ global attention, but only his innovative creativity in dealing with an urbanized human culture, his work of truly sustainable. His latest series "HYBRID CITY may be called a logical development of his earlier series. (Chabola City Bag City, Future).

He does not follow the fashion, with an organic green draped or at least hidden sustainable architecture He raises the question of truthfulness: "If the building were really hybrid So growing plant and urban residential structure at the same time Would the facades make photosynthesis? Would they even get green shoots? And this would prevent the gradual denaturation of megacities?

 Of course Thitz's inquiring mind does not stop there - the other side of the same medal, namely the "inhabited hybrid landscape" is in work. The first painting which Thitz created specifically for this presentation, approaches in endless scans of metalevels to a motive which is completely new and mysterious, yet by Thitz gets an impression of reality, which is simply astonishing.
