This time the THITZ ONE ARTIST SHOW stretches the entire length of stand H1, A26. Galerie Rothamel is one of the few galleries that has supported Art Karlsruhe since the first fair 22 years ago.

It traditionally always presents the very latest Thitz series and works there, often with its own One Artist Show. .

The opening presentation in 2025 actually consists exclusively of completely new works that Thitz has created especially for it. These include new interpretations of his Utopia series such as the “Bangkok Ultimate Utopia” work, which shows an incredibly detailed overview of a utopian Bangkok in the year 2125. In the even more utopian London, apart from the London shopping bags that are strongly integrated into the image, there are only a few urban symbols such as St. Paul's or the Tate, which can only be discovered on closer inspection in a thicket of hybrid building-plants. Here, too, the artist Thitz explores the connections between people's longings and visions of the future with the current urban cultures and social peculiarities of the metropolises. In keeping with the history of the metropolises, the artist makes his vision of hybrid plant-constructive architecture visible on the lifeblood of the Chao Phraya and Thames rivers. Contrary to the apocalyptic and deconstructive trend of destruction in contemporary culture, Thitz shows us a positive version of the future - the change for the better has already happened, we humans are living in harmony with nature again and the big cities are growing again, the bigger Thitz's CO2-consuming plant buildings become, the better the climate becomes. Of course, we all want a world in which we can move freely, in clean air without fear of war, lack of freedom and oppression.
