Unimaginable masses of water hit the region of the Ahr Valley in the Eifel region on July 14/15, 2021, with numerous deaths and injuries and damage in the billions. 
With an art auction in September 2021 in the Museum Ludwig in Koblenz is to be helped above all also in the destroyed art area. Hon. Professor Dr. Beate Reifenscheid (Director of the Museum Ludwig Koblenz) will host the auction and present the donated artworks of the artists*.  The complete proceeds of the art auction were distributed without deduction for the areas in art and culture in the region of the Ahr valley and will be used specifically.
